Disodium succinate is white crystalline particles, odourless, not deliquescent in air; soluble in water, insoluble in organic solvents. The aqueous solution has shellfish fresh taste, no acidic taste. It can be used as food flavouring agent, acidifier, buffer. It can also be used in synthetic medicine and other organic synthetic raw materials. UsesSodium succinate can be used as a flavour enhancer, flavouring agent, buffering agent. It is mainly used in ham, sausage, aquatic products, flavoured liquids, sake, soy sauce, sauces and refreshing drinks and other food industries.
