1.Performance and use:
Lithium stearate can be used as high temperature lubricant and stabiliser.
Used as high temperature lubricant, plastic industry stabilizer and other purposes gelling agent, metal powder lubricant production method will be 10g of stearic acid dissolved in 100mL of 95% ethanol, with 0.5mol/L lithium hydroxide ethanol solution titration (if the lithium hydroxide can not be fully soluble in ethanol, you can add water so that it is fully soluble), phenolphthalein as an indicator, the reaction reaches the same point, the precipitation of lithium stearate soap filtration and separation. The crude product can be recrystallised from 95% ethanol to obtain the pure product.
