Colourless absorbent oily liquid. Ammonia odour. Soluble in water and methanol, ethanol, benzene, acetone, ether, glycol and other common solvents.
Used as raw material for medicine, rubber accelerator and fluorescent whitening agent.
Morpholine is the intermediate of fungicide enoymorpholine and flumorpholine and organophosphorus insecticide methidathion.
It is mainly used in the production of rubber vulcanisation accelerator, and also used in the synthesis of surfactants, textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries, pharmaceuticals and pesticides. Morpholine is also used as a catalyst for polymerisation of cis-butadiene, corrosion inhibitor, optical bleach, this product is also a solvent for dyestuffs, resins, waxes, early glue, casein and so on.
