Sodium polyacrylate is white powder. It is odourless and tasteless. Extremely hygroscopic. Polymer compound with hydrophilic and hydrophobic groups. 1.Performance and use:

White powder, odourless. Expanding in contact with water, easily soluble in caustic soda aqueous solution.

Used as corrosion and scale inhibitor, water quality stabiliser, paint thickener and water retaining agent, flocculant, drilling mud treatment agent, etc. This agent is used in the treatment of circulating cold water of equipment made of copper, and its scale inhibition effect is good. When the dosage is 100mg/L, it can form chelates with scale-forming ions in medium hardness water and flow with water, and can prevent the formation of iron oxide scale.

It can be used as thickener and stabiliser in sauce products, thin cream and tomato salsa. It is used as dispersant in fruit juice and wine. It can make ice cream improve the taste and enhance the stability. Frozen and aquatic processed products as surface gelatinising agent to preserve freshness. It can also change the protein structure, enhance the viscoelasticity of food and improve the organisation.

Thickening agent. As it dissolves slowly in water, it can be pre-mixed with granulated sugar, powdered starch syrup, emulsifier, etc. to improve the dissolution speed. It is also used as clarifying agent (polymer coagulant) for sugar solution, brine and beverage. Used in aquatic processing plants to recover proteins from wastewater and to purify wastewater. Used as low-solid-phase drilling industry filtration loss reduction agent. UseThis product is a good scale inhibitor and dispersant.
