Zinc ricinoleate is a kind of metal soap, its molecular formula is (C18H32O3)2Zn, molecular weight 657.38. Foreign countries have started to study its deodorant effect from the 50‘s, and it has been made into commercial

deodorant in the 70’s, and it is used for various purposes. Previous research shows that the biggest advantage of

this deodorant is low toxicity through skin, mouth and respiratory absorption, safe and reliable use. Excellent antiprecipitant zinc ricinoleate, also known as zinc soap, is made of refined castor oil, zinc sulphate by saponification, salt precipitation and made of a white powder. It is an excellent Chemicalbook antiprecipitation agent which is indispensable in the production of paints. The use of zinc ricinoleate high-grade paint 0.1%, low-grade paint 0.6% or so, the general dosage of 0.6%-1.5%, the maximum does not exceed 2%. (1)In solvent-type colour paint, add 1-2% by weight of pigment to improve the dispersing efficiency of pigment, prevent the pigment from flocculation and return to roughness, and obviously improve the dispersing effect of colour paint. (2)Add 0.6% of the weight of the paint in the production of paint can prevent the pigment from settling and clumping in the storage of paint and play the role of dispersion.
