3-Methoxypropylamine (MOPA) is a widely used primary amine compound, mainly used as a mineral flotation agent, with higher selectivity for iron ore flotation than ordinary surfactants. In addition, 3-methoxypropylamine can be used as an important intermediate for the synthesis and dispersion of dyes such as turquoise blue S-GL, and can also be widely applied in metal corrosion inhibitor formulations, with the formulation dosage accounting for 5-15% of the total formulation mass. Corrosion inhibitors are gradually being promoted and applied in the petrochemical industry, making 3-methoxypropylamine have good application prospects.
