Light yellow or brown needle shaped crystals with a camphor odor. Melting point 172.5-173 ℃, boiling point 249 ℃. Sublimation above 100 ℃ does not decompose even when heated to 400 ℃. Stable to alkalis and non oxidizing acids
Used as an absorber, catalyst, rocket fuel additive, gasoline shock absorber, silicone resin, and rubber curing agent for ultraviolet light.
