White powder. Difficult to dissolve in water (0.3g/100ml water at 20℃), soluble in acid, ammonium salt, sodium thiosulfate and glycerol.
Uses Used as a solidifying agent for soybean products Used as a diluent for tablets and capsules, filler, and curing agent for slow-release agents Used for building boards, also used in agriculture and other uses α-type is used as a high-strength gypsum component in construction, gypsum boards, casting models, and fixed gelatinized processed parts in machining.
Type Β is mainly used in building materials, decorative plaster components, plaster statues, ceramics, precision machinery casting molds, chalk, gelling agent and so on.
