White cubic crystal. Dissolve in water, ethanol, pyridine, and ammonia water. Its aqueous solution is neutral

Mainly used in the electroplating industry, for the production of nickel batteries, organic synthesis and production of hardened oils as catalysts for paints, for the production of other nickel salt raw materials, for metal coloring, and as a mordant for reducing dyes.

Used as a stabilizer for liquid ammonia in refrigeration equipment, rocket propellant, oxidizer for fireworks manufacturing, glass etchant, antistatic agent, molten salt component in metallurgical industry, etc

Used as an analytical reagent, dissolution cooling agent, and also in the manufacturing of fluorescent materials
