1.Performance and use:

Ammonium polyphosphate is white powder, close to neutral, it can be mixed with any other substances without chemical change. Short chain(n≤20)APP has water solubility, long chain(n>20)APP is difficult to dissolve in water, the solubility of industrial APP in water is 1.3g/100mL(15℃) or 3.0g/100mL(25℃), the solubility increases greatly with the rise of temperature.APP can be hydrolysed, the hydrolysis rate changes with the particle size, temperature and pH, the temperature rises and pH decreases, the hydrolysis accelerates.APP has good thermal stability, the thermal decomposition temperature is above 250℃, the decomposition releases ammonia. APP has good thermal stability, the thermal decomposition temperature is above 250℃, ammonia and water are released and phosphoric acid is generated during decomposition, and all of them are decomposed at 700℃. The remaining 6%~7% residue. Usage Ammonium polyphosphate is a kind of polyphosphate containing N and P, abbreviated as APP. according to the size of its polymerisation degree, it can be divided into 3 kinds of low polymerisation, medium polymerisation and high polymerisation. When the degree of polymerisation is below 20, it is called low poly, which is water-soluble, and the degree of polymerisation is above 50, which is called high poly, which can be used as flame retardant. In the 80's, considering the price, cost and other factors, low poly water-soluble APP is mainly used in cellulose materials such as paper, wood and other flame retardant. High polymerisation ammonium polyphosphate is widely used in intumescent fireproof coating, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethane, epoxy resin, rubber products, fibreboard and dry powder fire extinguishing agent, etc. It is a kind of high efficient nitrogen-phosphorus non-halogenated smoke-eliminating flame retardant which is safe to use. Chemical properties of ammonium polyphosphate can be divided into three kinds of low polymerisation, medium polymerisation and high polymerisation according to its polymerisation degree. The larger the degree of polymerisation, the smaller the water solubility. According to its structure, it can be divided into crystalline and amorphous type. Crystalline ammonium polyphosphate is water insoluble and long chain polyphosphate. There are five variants from I to V type. It is used as a flame retardant for flame retardant fibres, wood, plastics, fire retardant coatings, etc. It can be used as a fertilizer. It can be used as fertiliser. UsesInorganic additive flame retardant, used in the manufacture of flame-retardant coatings, flame-retardant plastics and flame-retardant rubber products, etc. UsesTissue improver; emulsifier; stabiliser; chelating agent; yeast food; marinade additives; water-binding agent. Used in cheese, etc.
