Antimony sulfide is commonly known as raw antimony. Very pure antimony trisulfide. It is a dark gray needle shaped crystal. Generally, high-grade antimony ore is melted and refined by heating it to 650 ℃ in a crucible furnace or a reverberatory furnace. Antimony sulfide can be sold directly as a commodity. The binary compounds of sulfur and antimony include antimony trisulfide Sb2S3 and antimony pentasulfide Sb2S5. Pure antimony trisulfide is an orange solid or black gray crystalline or powder with metallic luster, with a relative density of 4.12, a melting point of 550 ℃, and a boiling point of approximately 1150 ℃.
